Building And Property

The Building & Property Committee's role is to maintain the Church building, physical assets and grounds in good condition for the use of the Congregation, Executive Council, various committees and the local community, in the interests of St. Thomas' outreach to the world.

The Committee is also responsible to research, cost estimate, bid/award/implement additions or modifications to the physical assets, building or grounds as approved by Executive Council.
Other specific duties of the Building & Property Committee, in conjunction with the above mandate, are:

• coordination of lawn maintenance and snow removal services
• safety and security systems
• building usage policy and fees
• monitoring janitor performance
• preparation of annual reports and budgets
