Ministry & Personnel

The Ministry & Personnel Committee (M&P) is responsible for:

•      Review annually, or as deemed necessary, the effectiveness of the Church Staff and positions as they relate to the mission of St. Thomas
•      Review regularly, the responsibilities of all staff, and revise position descriptions when required
•      Review annually, working conditions and remuneration for Church Staff and make appropriate recommendations to Executive Council
•      Provide a consultative and supportive body for Church Staff and the Congregation of St. Thomas in regard to church personnel
•      Oversee the relationship between and among Church Staff with respect to their responsibilities and authority
•      Consult with all Church Staff regarding continuing education
•      Oversee the relationship of Church Staff to the Congregation
•      Maintain close liaison with the Presbytery Pastoral Relations Committee
•      Other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Council or Congregation
