Welcome to St. Thomas!

Whether you have been coming a long time or are new to this community, we are happy you are here!  St. Thomas is an open, affirming and friendly space, so we hope you and your loved ones feel comfortable and relaxed no matter where you are on your faith journey.  We are a progressive, liberal United church that believes in Open Hands, Open Hearts, Open Minds, that connect scripture to today’s world and each other.  We are committed to expressing inclusivity and respectful human rights in all its diversity.

Genuine and radical hospitality starts with welcoming and caring for those who come through our doors, whether you are at home or at church. It really is who we are!

What can you expect?

St. Thomas welcomes every and all to our faith community. We acknowledge the land and publicly state our affirming identity each and every Sunday. Children and Youth programs run every Sunday from after Labour Day in September to early/mid June. In the summer months, families continue to be very welcome to attend; we do offer a nursery space and colouring/craft supplies are available on a kids’ table in the sanctuary. If you have prayer requests you’d like to be spoken aloud on a Sunday morning and you are attending in-person, you can fill out the prayer slips just inside the sanctuary doors on the left. If you are watching from home, please email your prayer requests to Rev. Tracy and she will include them in the next Sunday’s prayers. We give great thanks for all your gifts of time, talent, and treasure to St. Thomas. If you’d like to give and haven’t done so in the past, please click on the “Giving” button at the top of this page.

Journey through our website and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Rev. Tracy (tracyrobertson@stthomasunited.ca) or Jane in the office (office@stthomastunited.ca). Blessings to you!
